[edit] Who is he?

Strangler 999 is a 15 year-old male from Germany. He was born in Frankfurt on the 9th of November 1994 and lived in Germany for over 10 years however currently lives in Gloucester, England. He is fluent in both German, English and French. Speaking some Russian too.

[edit] In The Beginning

Having previously been on The Mighty Cats in Hats before being kicked for absencey, Strangler 999 had played no games for them in the First ever UK league. He started his grifball career, however, in a small 3 vs 3 mini competition. The idea was that the top players in this competition would make a grifball team and compete in the official grifball league. The competition passed and they had their team set up. Strangler 999 was named the captain of this team as he had the best record. Strangler 999 and his vice-captain, Cameron MCT, decided to name the team The Jolly Jumpers because of the fact that Strangler 999 was part of the ODST legion in the clan KFD along with the majority of the other players.

Soon after creating this team Strangler 999 came across Teaguey222 who was the captain of Sarge's Angels. Due to the fact that members of The Jolly Jumpers were not too bothered with grifball Strangler 999 decided to take a try out with Sarge's Angels in which he passed and got in.

At first he loved playing with Sarge's Angels. Soon later Strangler 999 was entered into the UKGBSML08 with his new team. It did not go too well as Sarge's Angels were quite a new team amongst giants. They did not win one game however they got one forfeit victory.

[edit] The Big Change

After the UKGBSML08 had ended, something unexpected happened. Strangler left Sarge's Angels and moved to a rookie team that Strangler had beaten so many times before. He moved to Johnsons Salty Grifballs. Strangler thrived while playing for JSG and soon became the teams top scorer and gained a position on the first choice team.

Strangler 999 has played in multiple JSG match since joining the team and along with the team captain, YodaMagicCircus, is the only player from the team to have competed in all of the SMC matches. He was the top scorer in the SMC's Sarge Division and was the top scorer in the entire SMC with 40 scores in only 8 games. With them he has managed to become the champions of the Sarge's Memorial Cup, defeating The Fumble Faction for the first time to take the win, 5-4.

[edit] Johnsons Salty Grifballs

Strangler 999 was signed to JSG after leaving Sarge's Angels. Strangler 999 said that he liked the friendly attitude of JSG and liked to play with them. He hadn't missed a match since joining and scored 4 in their Sarge's Memorial Cup final win. He is responsible for bringing JSG HEADTIME, Icemare13, SafeRicky and his brother Strangler 666 to the team. He named Johnsons Sweet 'N' Sour Grifballs which was a 'B' Team for Johnsons Salty Grifballs which he quickly became the vice-captain of. He has played in many memorable games and scored many scores.

[edit] The Elite Spartans

Following the downfall of Johnsons Salty Grifballs, Former team-mate ,JSG HEADTIME, and Strangler 999 were in search of a team for the already beginning UKGBWL09. Strangler 999 came up with a deal for JSG HEADTIME stating that they would not join a team without the other person joining with him.

Strangler 999 and JSG HEADTIME got numerous offers however only two of them needed any serious thought at all. Hardman's Destroyers were the first to offer however they had to turn down the offer due to the fact that The Elite Spartans had also put in an offer straight away. Strangler 999 had already known The Elite Spartans' captain, Bowman143, and were already quite good friends. JSG HEADTIME and Strangler 999 were both also already friends with SGT MacMuffin. Because of these factors, and the fact that The Elite Spartans were also statistically one of the best teams ever, JSG HEADTIME and Strangler 999 were both quick to sign up.

The league had started and The Elite Spartans were doing very well. They managed to win their division ahead of last season's runner-up, Grifballs of Steel, winning all but one game. Strangler 999 was doing well and managed to win both Golden Bomb and Golden Sword of the division with 32 scores and 25 stops. They managed to get into the playoffs and in the first round they were able to beat Strangler 999's former team, Sarge's Angels and advance through to the next round where they narrowly lost to The Fumble Faction. Soon after an extremely long wait, The Elite Spartans, under the captaincy of Strangler 999, managed to beat Grifballs of Brass 6-3. Strangler was able to score 4 of the scores' JSG HEADTIME scored the two others. After an unfortunate forfeit victory over Johnsons Sweet N Sour Grifballs as after JSSG's stand in captain, SafeRicky, got RROD and then only had 2 players remaining, their stand-in stand-in captain failed to respond to numerous messages at numerous times, even after Strangler 999 admittingly had called the forfeit he still tried to contact the SI-SI captain in the hope of still being able to play before The Fumble Faction responded. Strangler 999 captained The Elite Spartans through a glorious victory against the team that had put them down to the losers bracket, The Fumble Faction, 6 - 3. Strangler 999 managed to score 5 in this game with SGT MacMuffin getting the only other score for The Elite Spartans, guaranteeing that Strangler 999 has atleast come 2nd in the overall Golden Bomb of the UKGBWL09. This was also the first time that Strangler 999 had ever been in a UK League final, getting one step closer each season.

[edit] What The Bee Gees?

Whilst playing the roll of acting captain for The Elite Spartans for the last few games of the playoff bracket of the UKGBWL09; Strangler 999 and team-mate YodaMagicCircus decided that as soon as the season ended, no matter what the result was in the playoffs, they would go and join former Johnsons Salty Grifballs player, Hardcore Wookie, in his new team called What The Bee Gees?.

They kept to their word as they left their team after losing in the final against Grifballs of Steel.Preparing for the season ahead; Strangler 999 got long-term friends Cameron MCT and Suic1dal dan into his new team along with Welsh rookie player Marcusrowlands.

A few days later the season began, however, Strangler 999 went on holiday for two weeks and was unable to play the first 4 games. Returning, Strangler 999 was met with ashamed voices from team-mates as they told him of how they had lost their first four games. He did not mind. Strangler 999 was on a team with some of the best friends he had on XBOX LIVE and that is all that mattered to him.

That first week was very eventfull. Strangler 999's first game back was a great victory and the team's first win of the season. What The Bee Gees? won 9 - 0 in a game against Smiley Pickle Pirates in which Strangler 999 had scored 6 scores. The success did not end there. Next game, Next victory; as the team ran down Immingunz in another 9 - 0, this time allowing Strangler 999 to claim another 8 scores to his tally. Strangler 999 was later pronounced the skipper of What The Bee Gees?. The success didn't stop there as Strangler 999 was awarded with the Golden Bomb for Week 3; scoring 14 goals in 2 games.

What The Bee Gees? lost their next two games. The first was against Sarge's Angels 6 - 3 in which WTBGs? diputed due to one of their playing players not being able to see what was happening or react to what was happening in the game. The rematch was not given and What The Bee Gees? carried on. They lost their second game, again, 6 - 3. This was a very enjoyable game in which the opponents, The Elite Spartans, had host. Strangler 999 managed to get Golden Bomb again for Week 4. He managed to score a total of 6 in 2 games.

With the transfer window opening, Strangler 999 was straight in; looking for experienced players for his team. In the first day of knowing about the 'window' being opened, he managed to make two new signings, Ryandc23, of the then folding Far Cough and SGT MacMuffin, of whom Strangler 999 had obtained and played with from/on The Elite Spartans. They played later that evening against Epicballs. The lineup was Strangler 999; Trickrunner, YodaMagicCircus; Defender, Ryandc23; Tank and a Smoky Duck; Tank. What The Bee Gees? beat Epicballs 7 - 2 in which all of WTBGS? players played well. All getting a plus except for Strangler 999. Ryandc23 got a debut +20 K/D, YodaMagicCircus got + 4 K/D and a Smoky Duck; + 6 K/D. Despite Strangler 999 not getting a +K/D, he still managed to score all 7 of his team's scores and managed to get 3 carrier kills.

After a long break in grifball, Strangler 999 decided to rejoin the league. Doing so, he controversially joined Duffs Not Included after having already joined The Clichés two days before, which created a tension and rivalry between the two teams. Duffs Not Included needed a Trick Runner, and Strangler thought that he could fit In nicely with these old faces from the past that he had been friends with before his leave.

Strangler 999 is brothers with former team-mate Strangler 666. After a long absence due to RROD Strangler 999 convinced his brother to try out for Johnsons Salty Grifballs

[edit] Circle of Friends

After leaving Sarge's Angels Strangler 999 immediately settled in with his new team mates in Johnsons Salty Grifballs. However he seemed to get on very well with his Captain, YodaMagicCircus, as they had played on many other games together other than Grifball. They played together on games such as: Fifa 09, Left 4 Dead, Halo 3, Halo Wars, The Orange Box and many more games. They got on extremely well and still do. Following the arrival of JSG HEADTIME to Johnsons Salty Grifballs they instantly bonded with him and the three of them started playing as a group as they all had similiar games. YodaMagicCircus introduced them to some of his friends at school, although Strangler 999 already knew Wookie, he met Knuxles who was also a former member of Johnsons Salty Grifballs. During the downfall of Johnsons Salty Grifballs, the members of this 'circle of friends' still kept being friends. Because of this, YodaMagicCircus and JSG HEADTIME both decided to join with Srangler 999 to The Elite Spartans, JSG HEADTIME straight away, and YodaMagicCircus eventually joining. There they met Bowman143 and got to know SGT MacMuffin better. With Wolf C16 joining slightly later the circle of friends had grown to eight members and just recently Dr Kentucky joining the team to make it 9, Strangler 999 had already known Dr Kentucky before and had played often together on FIFA 09 and against eachother on the grifball court, they are good friends. All of whom keep regular contact with eachother and play many games together as a group.
