When did you start playing Grifball?

GBSL08. CitHC. We recently brought back the name because we wanted to go old-school.

How many seasons have you played in?

This is now my 5th season.

What was your favorite season? Which version of Grifball did you like the best?

My favorite season would have to be GBWL09. We won the championship and I had a lot fun, so those two combined make it fun. I’ve only played league games with the current version of grifball, but the game’s fun, so I’d say the new rules are best. More powerful ball runner is better to be honest, because otherwise it’s an unfair 3 v 4 game.

What teams have you been on and what team are you on right now?

Oh god, I’ve been on CitHC, Status Quo, Blood Oath (Played no games), Gaming So Hard, Lint, and now CitHC again. My current team is CitHC.

Who would you say is the best tank in Grifball? Trick runner? Hybrid?

Tank, I can’t really say. There’s a lot of talented tanks in this league now, and it’s hard to just pick one. K/D wise, I’d pick Redbaron, only because he’s unkillable. But he wouldn’t be my vote for best tank. Citi probably would be my vote for best overall tank, as he’s the definition of a “pure” tank.

Runner… I like Bluezebra at the moment. His host helps him of course, but host doesn’t do everything for you. He’s smart with the ball, but still isn’t afraid to get a few stiffarms to help out the team.

Hybrid, I’d definitely have to go with Doc at the moment. He’s one of the more aggressive hybrids in this league currently, but doesn’t go for unnecessary stiffarms. He also puts up a decent to good k/d ratio, which is why I believe he’s the best at this moment.

What team do you think is the best in the Amateur league? Pro league?

Best Amateur, I’d go with Zoo Monkies. They definitely shouldn’t be in the ammy league. Pro League, I can’t really say. There’s too many talented teams, and the schedules are too uneven to show who’s the best team. Teams with a legit shot at the championship, I’d say there’s only 4 or 5. SI, Zing, SYLaL, CitHC, DWR.

Who is your favorite player? Team?

Favorite player, definitely Zeg. He’s a cool guy and doesn’t afraid of anything. He also has happened to ditch me in hopes of teaming with him. Pretty sad if you ask me lol 

Favorite team, can’t say really say. It’s hard to enjoy cheering a team you don’t play for.

Do you have a rival player? Team?

Player, uhh idk. Probably right now Twizzter only because of the massive amount of shit that kid talks. Team, right now, +1 Zing? Only because of the massive amount of shit Twizzter talks. It’s actually amusing, seeing as he made a team playbook, but claims he doesn’t take grifball seriously.

If you could change one thing about Grifball what would it be?

Currently, I’d change it’s run. I don’t like the idea of secret projects, and not knowing about shit. Whatever, it’s always changing, hopefully for the best.

If you had to pick one thing you didn’t like about Grifball what would it be?

Host. Ruins the game, I think all games for Pro league should be neutral host, and I’d like to thank the people who neutral host games. Thanks for taking your time out to help out the league (Lemon, Zeg, etc.)

If you had to pick one thing about Grifball that you absolutely loved what would it be?

The game itself. Don’t hate the game, hate the players. Grifball has always been fun, but if you take it too seriously, that’s when the fun stops.

What are your thoughts on the possibility of a Ranked Grifball playlist?

I think host is too powerful in grifball to give a legit shot at a ranked Grifball playlist. But I think it’d be fun to see the game evolve more with it.

If a team got paid to participate in one of the leagues what would your impression be?

I think it’d be bad for the league, but if I was on that team, I wouldn’t mind. They wouldn’t also be guaranteed a championship for sure, so I don’t know what problems would occur chemistry wise, but I think it’d be a fun experiment.

Are there any controversies that you can recall from your experience that sticks in your mind?

Oh too many to count. The SQ vs ZM dispute, GSH vs TWSS dispute. There’s too many, but it’s all been part of the experience. I don’t think I could have enjoyed it as much without a little bit of drama.
